So much love went into this wedding. The flowers, the signs, the cake, the first dance, the decorations. Just everything. Every aspect was with thought and intention. And with intention (and because let’s face it, I’m a photographer and not a writer), I’ll show you what the day looked like instead of tell you.
In honor of their 10th wedding anniversary, the Leisures had the awesome idea to take their family photos at their wedding and reception sites. They also invited my son Miles along to intern with me after they saw a photo Miles took for Fine Living Lancaster. Here are some of mine:
and here are Miles’:
I’m pretty proud of this kid. Thank you, Leisure family, for letting him come along- I know he had a great time and loved photographing your family.

Notes from this trip:
We didn’t get rained out like we did last time. That time was fun, in an “this is an adventure” sort of way but it really sucked to leave early.
My ocean anxiety is at an all time high.
Sometimes kids will pick up where they left off and sometimes they will choose to be around other people.
There is a store in town so I shouldn’t have ever over-packed. Like, ever.
These kids grow too damn fast.
I want to do keep doing this vacation every year (somewhere, anywhere) until I’m too lazy to travel.
